Social Media Time Limits
The head of Instagram mentioned that the new Threads App had a feature to set time limit reminders for the app. It is true, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, and even TikTok all have ways to set time limit reminders. The problem is that these “features” are buried in App settings.
Even though it is hard to set time limit reminders, make sure that you take breaks while on social media.
I imagined social media grabbing and hypnotizing us like Kaa, the snake in the Jungle Book. Our screens do hypnotize, as they were designed to do.
Find time away to relax and restore balance in your life.
