There are a lot of things that I had hoped to have figured out by this stage in my life. Likeā¦
My career and salary
(who knew after over 20 years in a career a job would be hard to find)
How the world works
(why do we repeat horrible parts of history?)
Life in general
(you do this, then this, and achieve this)
What I do know is that the world is always in a state of change.
It would be easy to see this as bad. We could toughen ourselves and grow rigid and stubborn. We could choose to vainly punish the world and everyone in it for every perceived wrong we have been dealt.
Or, we can see the changes in the world as freshness and a way to start again.
Be kind to yourself on your creative journey.
