Mission Impossible is a spy movie franchise centered around the main character and spy, Ethan Hunt, portrayed by Tom Cruise. The latest installment,”Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning,” is hitting movie theaters in the US and around the globe this weekend.
Many creatives, myself included, from time to time feel the fear and pain of imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is the fear that you are phony or a fraud and that everyone will find out.
So what can we as creatives learn from super spy Ethan Hunt?
In most spy movies, the spy will put on a disguise in order to blend in or fool the opposing force. Spies pretend to be someone else. To be clear, a spy is the very definition of an imposter. So why can’t we all be the artist, musician, writer, mathematician, scientist, or creative that we want to be? We can. We just pretend. One day, after you have pretended long enough, you will discover that you are the creative you thought you were pretending to be.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to simply create and make things that you want to see in the world. We are all imposters, and we are all making things up as we go along. So if you feel like an imposter, create things anyway.
Be kind to yourself on your creative journey.

Tom Cruise, might be the actual last movie star hollyweird has left .Most everyone is podcasting or tv or some other venue .I don’t really care for him personally but he has really figured out the art of entertaining us away from the hatchets and guilitines of real life .I like your idea of spy personality Thank You
