Google, OpenAI, and drawing fun characters
There were not one, but two technology events this week. I sketchnoted the OpenAI Spring Event on Monday and the Google I/O Keynote on Tuesday. The I/O stands for input/output. Both events, like much of tech at the moment, were focused on AI (artificial intelligence) products and tools.
Bate-Papo
Since both events were AI focused, I brought back Bate-Papo, my AI chatbot character, to illustrate the concepts and add a bit of fun and play to the sketchnotes.
I like developing characters and thinking about different poses and props. Short comics also come to mind for the characters, if I could only finish one of the concepts in my head.
New Bee Design
Speaking of characters, I did keep drawing and working on the bee from last week and came up with a new design for t-shirts and other products.
You can find t-shirts on Amazon under my Calex Studio Novelty Designs brand(available in the US, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, Spain, and Japan).
You can find prints, stickers, t-shirts, and more in my Threadless shop.
