Make it yourself.
The world is full of many wonderful and mundane things ready for our amusement and consumption if we let it. However, for creatives, there is a nagging desire in the back of our minds wanting to create something, anything, and release it into the world. It could be a dissatisfaction with the world as it is, or perhaps you don’t quite identify with the things as you find them. Maybe, it is obvious to you how to make something just a little bit better and more delightful.
If so, what are you waiting for? Make it yourself.
It might be the story of a friendly dinosaur in a modern city solving mysteries and wrongdoing with his psychic abilities. Sounds like fun and what I want to see. You might see a book, a story, a song, a movie, a new fashion design, or a new math problem. Whatever it is, make it yourself.

Recently, a young boy decided to make his own book and the cheeky little fellow put it in his public library. It now has a years-long waitlist.
In the 2008 movie, Be Kind Rewind, two store clerks accidentally erase the footage from all of the tapes in their video rental store. To keep the business running, they re-shoot every film in the store with their own camera, with a budget of zero dollars. The customers love it.
Here is a design I wanted to see and released into the world last week.
